CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP!!!!!!!! :cries:

I tried to finish this picture for the pokecon :iconpokecon: thing, but schoolwork on the weekdays and a long trip out of the city today (I WAS planning to spend all day on this) got in the way! ARRRGGH...

I only finished Rayquaza! Jirachi's not shaded, the bg is craptastic, the beam of light (that's supposed to be Jirachi's doom desire) is incomplete too! And the effects (except Rayquaza's arm) suck... CRAP... :cries:

Well, I'll just act like it's a good picture and give you info on it anyway...

It's a battle between my two favorite gijinkas of mine, Jirachi and Rayquaza. I (accidentally) changed Jirachi a bit, and (purposefully) changed Rayquaza to make him look older and tougher like he was supposed to look. Why are they fighting. No clue. But it's cool anyway... ^^; Jirachi's using Doom Desire to bring a beam of light from the heavens, and Rayquaza's just barely dodging it (losing most of his sleeve and burning part of his arm) while at the same time getting ready to use Outrage. Rayquaza frequently smiles even when near certain death, at least in the games, which is why he's still smiling despite the arm issue.
I like to think of the cenario as: Jirachi has just challenged Rayquaza (reason unkown), but the two are at different levels of strength; Rayquaza has had millions of years of training, Jirachi has... mostly slept for that amount of time. So the whole time, Rayquaza is certain of her defeat after analyzing her strategy, which consists of pummeling with psychic attacks and healing once in a while (which is really all the pokemon itself does). Rayquaza has used lack of speed and discipline to his advantage, by using... speed and discipline, throughout the battle, and so Jirachi doesn't get the upper hand until she uses Doom Desire, which actually hits him for the first time-- at least partially.
Now if I could animate this, Jirachi would win shortly after this shot by using the generally missed Doom Desire as a distraction, giving her a perfect path to Ray. It would end with Jirachi giving a final double-edge, and the impact (and the fact that he was getting ready for outrage at the same time) would paralyze him (not in pokemon terms though), and leave him powerless on the ground.

Hearing the original intent sure makes the pic look better... but it's still crap. I'll update with a way better version later, this was just to have it in the contest. (highly doubt a win)
